Current one failed quite spectacularly.
Any advice on replacements?
Thanks

When mine died on my SO40 I looked around for alternatives. They were either too big to fit in the space, too small a capacity or required too much plumbing realignment.
In the end I bought the same make and the equivalent model.

I have a 49 SO DS. My calorifier was leaking, so I purchased a replacement from Xylem. I’ve not yet installed it. In fact, maybe you can help me with something. I had someone winterize my boat and they disconnected some of the hoses from the Calorifier. Can you let me know which model you have, and maybe take some pictures of the connections?

In the end I bought the same make and the equivalent model. i ended up buying the same C-warm unit or very similar from Xylem. The only thing i added was amixer valve since the hot water was often too hot at the sink. i may consider adding a thermostat on engine feed too at a later date.

Ours had to be replaced due frost damage in Greece.
Not sure what make it was replaced with but, as I mentioned on a previous thread, following the installation the water cycled red hot to cold and back again every 30 secs or so. There was no mixer valve on the tank to reduce the heat and none shown on the installation instructions.
It was finally fixed by re-adjusting the air pressure in the accumulator with a cycle foot pump. It should have been nitrogen but didn't have any of that to hand.
All back to working normally now.
