For those of you who have MF 755's or 795's, I'm wondering if anyone has ever dug into or tested their Blue Sea SI-ACR Start Isolation Charging Relay. I was testing mine today and expect it isn't wired correctly. It came on my boat with two batteries, one house + start, and one only start. The A and B terminals are connected, the ground terminal is connected, but there is nothing wired into the Start Isolation Terminal. The engine is a Yamaha F200.
I have tested the switches in all positions, and when the house battery is disconnected, the start battery will not start and the engine LCD doesn't power up. The way I've been testing is to fully disconnect the house battery and only leave the start battery in the circuit, could the relay be preventing ignition when the one battery is disconnected?
Both batteries are charged up properly, and both switches work fine.
Jeanneau has wired the relay slightly differently than shown by Blue Sea, so I'd love to hear if anyone else has gotten further through the troubleshooting.
