Hi, our 39i is suffering with chalky topsides, I have tried a few polishes etc and nothing is giving us the shine we are looking for. Any suggestions on good products to use? Any tried and tested tips would be greatly received. many thanks

You may have to start using a cutting compound to get rid of the oxidization.

I doubt that we have very many common polish brands between here and europe but generically, going with a form of "cut polish" is your best bet. Be wary of the "one step" polishes, and thoroughly clean the gelcoat first before applying the cut polish.

If you can get a hold of them the Aurora boat product range is great. We used it on the heavily oxidised lifeboats when I worked on cruise ships. Just be sure to protect with the UV protective polish.
