I have a sun odyssey 28.1 1997. The waste outlet pipe is blocked, I have tried clearing with flexible rods etc but to no avail. I read somewhere the pipe should be changed every 5 to 7 years due to the build up of calc. Can anyone advise on the route of the pipe, I cannot trace where it goes, or any advice at all. Thanks.

From looking at the manual it should just be a short run from the head to the seacock, unless maybe a holding tank has been fitted see drawing on page 45 www.jeanneau-owners.com/Manuals/SO281.pdfPresume you are in the water? I would be very careful though of the seacock and maybe through hull in case they have suffered corrosion - in fact that may well be the blockage, they could shear off. It would be safer to have the boat out of the water, and probably replace the fittings in any case Good luck - there is lots about seacocks, thru-hulls if you do a search on this forum
