Hi again I’m still considering SO32i lift keel. For our local travel-lift/trailer I need to check the max width of the Bilge Keels. Would appreciate if anyone has access to an out of water SO32i lift keel to confirm this measurement please? Thankyou

Hi Billy, If I'd seen your post before I went to the boatyard yesterday I could have measured ours (which is a 32 not a 32i - from the pics I've seen on the web the keel configuration looks the same).
How quickly do you need the measurement?

Hi Mike, It would be great if I had the measurement in the next few weeks, before the end of Jan would be ideal. The one I'm looking at is currently afloat. Would very much appreciate this if you are back at the yard before then. Thankyou

OK no problem I can do that. Just to be clear, by "Max width of the bilge keels" do you mean the maximum distance athwartships between the outside of the port bilge keel and the outside of the starboard bilge keel (measured at the bottom of the keels), or the maximum width of each individual bilge keel (measured at the bottom of the keel)?

Thanks Mike, Exactly, the max width athwartships between the outside of the port bilge and outside of the starboard bilge keel. Approximately will be ok! (My local hoist-trailer has limited workable width between its inside wheels) Regards

Difficult to measure accurately with the keels sat on big blocks of wood, but it's a bit over 1m, pretty sure it's less than 1.1m.
