Hi all, Just wondering if anybody has used a removable mainsheet track before? Barton make one, which looks quite efficient and easy to use/set up. The cabin roof style system that comes as standard is utterly useless upwind.

www.jeanneau-owners.com/hintsandtips/so32mainsheettrack.htmlDon't know if you seen this post its a Harken and looks the same principle as the Barton. One of the points raised was the sides the bracket fits into are not vertical so perhaps not quite as straight forward to fit. I was looking into either this arrangement or a track mounted on the deck as was not happy with the standard main sheet. In the meantime I tried a simple strop set up as used on the SO349 and it worked really well a big improvement on the standard set up so much so forgotten about the track, also set the main sheet up via a clutch back to genoa winches as a german main sheet
