I'm not sure if everyone is aware but Jeanneau has a new spare parts website online. You'll need to register and they'll provide a login and password. spareparts.jeanneau.fr/It has a pretty thoughtful breakdown of parts and it's nice to see such support. Svejk

At the bottom of the webpage is a link for New User SignupAlbeit it's not the prettiest website out there but it's a start.

I used both Chrome and Edge browsers but didn't see a link to sign-up anywhere on my page. But I did look at the PHP source and the link to sign up for an ID is at spareparts.jeanneau.fr/controleur.php?action=formInscriptI wonder if it is a phishing site, as it really doesn't look like what Jeanneau usually puts up? The WHOIS entry is for a company called "Ascio Technologies Inc. Danmark - filial af Ascio Technologies Inc. USA" which is the services company but later there's a link to a person email address of "email@beneteau.fr" which may or may not be kosher. I signed up but am still a bit wary

Pretty antiquated looking site setup by Benneteau USA. I signed up and tagged my boat model...it crashed. Great idea but I'llI give them some time to work out the bugs. I would not leave any credit card information on the site.

It looks like the url hasn't been added as an alias to the certificate (hence the non-secure connection). A good starting point - looking forward to improvements.

When I try to use it at home with Chrome on a mac, I can sign in but crashes when I enter my boat model. Are you using a mac or pc? It is a start but hopefully they will update at some point but my guess this is due to the program they have used for years to track parts and from experience I would be worried about updating it as well. I signed up and was emailed a customer number and password.... tried to login in to the site and I continued to get a message saying my login or password is bad... I used the button to send me a new login and password, which the site did within seconds of the request.... I tried the new login and password and received the exact same message at the login screen.... bad customer code or password... Maybe their site needs some work... back to internet searching for parts for me..... Actually during signup, it did not list my model of boat either.... sun odyssey 36.2 .... odd

Well I signed up and found my boat (sort of) went through the catalogue and found the bits I am after but clicking order does nothing, so then I found the basket and inserted the part number directly in and it says that part number does not exist.
I am amazed how this company survives. Bunch of amateurs.

I was able to register, log-on, find my boat model and place items in the cart. I went through part of the checkout process before I could see prices. The prices seemed reasonable even before the site applied a 15% discount. The shipping charge seemed fair, but i did wonder if it reflected my location in the US. The checkout process also gave you options on how to deal with parts on back order. I did not complete the checkout process as I’m not yet comfortable with providing this site with credit card info., just want to give it a test drive.
The parts catalogue was frustratingly slow and cumbersome, but functional. I did find a YouTube video that explained how to use the web site... Which seems to indicate that the site owners recognize their site is not very intuitive.
I would be interested in hearing if anyone has actually made a purchase through this site.

Strange... I can’t seem to find it now. Maybe it was taken down. It wasn’t much help so I actually didn’t finish watching it. I will post the link if I come across it again.

Could not find the YouTube video... but it looks like the “Help” document under the “Informations” tab contains the same info that was covered by the video.

Am I the only one thinking this might be a scam ? Not that I don't wish we would all have an accessible online spare part shop again , but as it is now I wouldn't order anything from that blurry site . Maybe Jeanneau could shed some light on this matter ?
Regards

Does the site provide exploded schematics and part numbers or just parts listings?
If I find the schematics online again, I will print them all immediately.

They've got to start somewhere...

Pretty poor construction. Negative on the user friendly scale. Nevertheless, I made it and found all the lost schematics and parts lists. I downloaded a pdf of every single one. Whew. Time consuming. I started to play with the ordering system (I need new keel bolts), but I've already found an inconsistency between the schematic and the parts list. Specifically, it shows a different number of threaded bolts on the parts list vs schematic.

Hello all, Looking at this parts site its a version of the back end system which we dealers have to use albeit with a credit card system tacked on the back end. Trust me when I say from supplying Jeanneau spare parts using this system for several years that, it takes a lot of getting used to and is very fiddly. Feel free to use it by all means but any dealer worth their salt should be able to get you the exact same results, prices and avoid some of the pitfalls (for example as people have noted with several different part numbers for one part) that this system can present. On an aside the Jeanneau delivery pricing costs can be startling to say the least - its not hard and fast rules but on the mailing price list guidelines for example a 'regular' sized weighing 5kg package is be anything from 57,5EUR to 108EUR within Europe depending on where you are!!! Which would be a lot for a new windlass gypsy for arguments sake, which is why sometimes we suggest buying direct or off chandlers instead. Those who will mention that they don't have a good dealer, or don't like their local dealer, parts are not location centric so buy the parts off a better dealer elsewhere, build a relationship with that dealer and when you come to upgrade hopefully buy the next boat from them Older models will not be supported by the system (we don't see them either) and have to ask Jeanneau Spareparts team. Happy to help any forumites with showing where to find the parts they need on the system also - just PM me.
