I have recently changed the Euro style shorepower sockets on my SO32 to UK style square pin sockets, and thought that other UK based Jeanneau owners would be interested.
I have always been mildly irritated by having to use a travel adaptor to plug in the toaster or fan heater when lying on a shorepower connected berth, and recently started to cast around for some suitable UK sockets to replace the French ones. I like the lift up flaps which cover the sockets as they make them look very neat when not in use, and the sockets themselves are much more compact than the standard units made for houses.
Through another forum, I was told that the sockets on the boat are made by Berker, and UK sockets are available from East Coast Leisure, who have an internet shop.
Four sockets cost me £45 including P&P, and fitting them was very straightforward. I'll post some pics when I get the chance.
Anyone want to buy a spare Berker Euro socket?
