Matilda starts racing again this year and was wondering if anyone can suggest what is the PHRF Handicap for the SO 35?
Thank you

As I have noticed with the Aussie PHS, the handicaps are very much regional. That makes sense since the boats generally don't race between regions.
According to WIKI, PHRF also suffers from regional variations.
I would suggest that you try to find a SO35 racing elsewhere in Canada and also from the same fleet a SF37 or a SO37 and using their handicaps adjust for the BC fleet (I saw SF/SO37 are on the BC racing list). If you strike out, look at US handicaps

37's aroiund here are in the 140 range dpending upon shoal vs deep draft. 35's around 10-20 secs faster, There are a LOT more 37s than 35's here in the salish sea.

I agree with Marty's statement. We raced our SO35 a few times in Texas with a PHRF of 126 - 132 (non-spinnaker), which was about the same as a local SF37.

I spoke to the owner of a SF 37 here in Vancouver. He told me that his boat is rated 114 in races where he fully utilizes the entire arsenal of sails.
As is, with the main and Genoa, the boat is rated 120.
The decision makers in my club DCYC (http://www.deepcoveyc.com/racing.php) kindly assigned for my boat 140! Thank you all for your input.

Is that Prussion Blue, or was.....not sure if the new owner kept the name.....
I know of one SF37 down here with a rating....120 or so in FS IIRC, and sf35 IIRC is 105 fs.
