(The more modern units have a 5 screw fixing.) Any advice much appreciated. Martin

VDO makes a universal sending unit that comes with the gauge. I don´t remember whether it´s a 3 screw or 5 screw unit but so long as you have the gasket you can use just the 3 screws with no ill effects.
