I have a Jeanneau 1991 Sun Odyssey 51 with a 100 gallon keel tank. Also, the keel itself is bolted to the hull and the bolts were glassed over when manufactured at the factory. Mu concerns are are the bolts in good condition and is the tank in good cond? How does one know for sure and are there anu photos of these systems in the production phases I can get? Is the tank fiberglass, or stainless steel? Has anyone delbt with the keel bolts that were glassed over and had any issues with the keel tank?

My Jeanneau Selection 37 ( 1987) has the same glassed over keel bolts. I am planning to cut the glass off one bolt to ground my mast this fall. I will get back to if see anthing to worry about. Surveyors don't like them but if your keel joint is ok it should be ok - your bolts aren't moving - they are incased in resin. That is my read on this. I can't help you with the tank. Just don't move let the boat freeze.
