Hello,
Three weeks ago I bought a used Tonic-23...it is a very nice small yacht. Now, winter is going to come back and so I want to lift my boat out of the water. To do this I will have to use two lifting straps (textile) but I don`t know about the needed lengths and the best positions to put them at the hull.
I would be pleased if somebody could give me some advice.
Alternatively, I would prefer hoisting devices consisting of steel wire ropes and shakles to connect crane hook direktly to the hull (e.g. chainplates) but I don`t know if it could be a possible solution. I took contact to the German Jeanneau importer but I didn`t receive any information about.
Perhaps some Tonic skipper had the same idea before?
Kind regards from the Lake Constance/Germany
Mathias
