Here's the latest news. We installed the cylinder and pump today. It's winter up here, it was snowing and about -5C in the boat But I do have 1 concern: is the hydraulic system properly bled? Notorious, When you bled yours a few weeks back, how did you go about bleeding the system? Danny

Man,it´s like 78° F here and I´m wearing a sweater! How can you stand it?
To bleed the system, first fill it with hydraulic oil or automatic transmission fluid, then open the valve that you usually open to let the board down, with the valve open, pump the handle and watch the fluid level. Once it stops going down, top it off andclose the valve, that shoul do it!

Just kidding, I know how beatiful changes in season are and there´s lot´s of things to do in the house. Just my arthritis can´t cope with that anymore.
