Watch your hose connections

Hi,

Just a friendly reminder to look over your hose connections.

This weekend I replaced through hull intake for engine cooling water.
To my surprise the old hoses wasn't connected correctly to the raw filter as the hose clamps was sitting below the "pipes" on the filter!
So they were in practice no help at all, and the hoses could have slipped off anytime.
Not sure if it's original work, the hoses looks rather old though so might be...

Another thing to check while you are at it is any wear points on the hoses, especially around the motor where vibration against a sharp edge can cause big problems. With black rubber hoses you will be seeing black rubber dust if there is a problem.

and the double hose clamps should be mounted in an opposite direction!!
