I'm still posting pictures and descriptions of the many projects and improvemnets I've made over the years in preparation to go cruising offshore later this year. travels-of-sv-far-niente.blogspot.com/

Great blog. I especially liked the companionway doors and will probably do the same for my Sun Legende. Good luck and keep posting your great ideas.

Beautiful work. Your cabinetry looks factory done. What varnish did you use to get that factory fresh look? Steve

Thanks for all the nice comments. I just returned from a six week cruise that took us from Ft. lauderdale, FL to the Abacos ( bahamas) ending in Norfolk, VA. We had a great time and the boat performed well. Encountered a storm while offshore between St. Augustine and Charleston, SC. The boat handled it well (better than some of the crew) and proved her worth. It was a great learning experience and caused me to re-adjust my list of priorities for adding new equipment.
The finish I applied to the new interior was MinWax Polyeurothane in the satin finish.
