Anyone know where I can purchase a replacement water deck fill. I haven't been able to find one with such a large flange. I attached a little sketch with dimensions. Also looking to by a deck fill key for these Winch Handle like caps. Hard to find in the US.. imgur.com/AfMy69N

we had to replace one on our DS40 when we were in Trinidad - we looked hard and could not find one like the one we had and had to go with a different one. Try Jeanneau USA which I assume you have tired - but beyond that it may be a struggle.

These are probably what you want goiot-systems.com/nables/nables-aluminium/As your boat is French you should perhaps dump your imperial measurements that are a throwback from the pre-revolution days and use metric.

Sweden was actually right hand drive until 1967 en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dagen_HI'm used to the two sides... Sometimes I do go for the door when trying to change gears. Riding a MC from the UK to Europe was more of a challenge when I was living in Ireland

At least we all can agree to follow the international rules of the road on the water ...
Looks like ASAP supplies has a deck fill cap that has almost the same flange diameter that I'll be able to use. Has one of those quick tab screw caps also which will make it convenient.
Those goiot look like direct replacement though, good to know.

Those goiot look like direct replacement though, good to know. I tried to find a supplier in the US but struck out. It made me realise that online searches for US is not as easy as it is for the rest of the world. I can add a site:.au, .se, .uk etc if I want to find a site in Australia, Sweden or UK but the US does not have such a luxury

Rig-Rite on the east coast has bought up some supplies of older Amiot/Goiot parts. Will not say they have the part tho. Goiot/Plastismo went into recievership/bk about 2 yrs ago. So finding older model parts since then has been rather tough. There "is/WAS" a distributor in Florida...... You may end up having to do as I did, modify a different brand that will work in its place. I dropped the winch handle part and went with two holes pin style. Those do not seem to wear as fast or as bad.

I just purchased a second hand Sun Odyssey 35 (2003) and the previous owner lost the cap of starboard water tank. So as temporary solution there is some kind of duct tape covering the hole. My Jeanneau dealer in Canada says it is impossible to find or order this part :-( My boat was manufactured in France. The Goiot model seems to be the correct one.

I just received a replacement from Jeanneau. I ordered it from my Jeanneau dealer here in NZ and they sourced it from France. IT arrived in NZ in 4 days. Part 976497 – Plastic Deck Bung.

Thanks a lot, NZL8970. I finally found one at Rig-Rite USA www.rigrite.com/Hardware/Deck_Fills/Amiot_Deck_Fills.php#Composite Replacement Parts
Amiot Composite Deck Fill Replacement Parts Deck Fill Cap for Standard Winch Handle: Ami DFC-CWH: Black Composite Amiot Deck Fill Cap accepts standard (11/16") square or octagonal Winch Handle or any Winch Handle Key. Black molded Cap includes rubber O-Ring. Cap has 2 1/8" (53.5mm) maximum OD, and fits only Composite Deck Fills.
Unfortunately they sent the wrong model. the Aluminum one instead of the Composite one :-( Do you think it would still work ? (an aluminum cap on a composite Deck fill ?

Provided that it fits, and seals water tight, I would not hesitate to use an aluminum cap in a composite fitting. There should be no issues with dissimilar metals or anything like that.

I can confirm that Goiot water filler caps are identical to the original fit. After much trawling around UK chandlers and the like for anything similar, I found the item in the first French chandlers I visited in St Vaast. I have subsequently seen them in chandlers in Cherbourg for about 17 Euros. Needless to say I now carry a spare! These are the black composite ones with a hole that can be accessed with most winch handles but I do have the original composite key.

thank you cdrmike. I confirm as well. Not so easy to find in Canada by the way, and Rig Rite (USA) finally sent me the correct model in composite, 45 USD + import taxes. I asked my brother who is visiting me from France to bring me a spare this summer.
