After taking delivery of the 42DS I took the main and genoa to Ullman Sails in San Diego to have sail numbers put on. An unsollicited comment from them: These are very nicely built sails. Should last a long time.

WHile I am not at home, about the middle of canada vs the US pacific Northwest. I am thinking that is whom made my sails for my 1984 Arcadia, and they are still on the boat. Granted a bit worst for wear, especailly the 135 genoa, but the main overall is in pretty good shape. But I will and would assume some new sails would be good for the boat speed wise etc. Which are on the short list of things to do!

I'm glad to hear somebody has had some luck with Technique Voile! We had them on our SO32 and they were awful, and replaced very rapidly.
