Has anyone experience in replacing the toe rail on a SO39, year 1993. The toe rail on the SO39 is the same construction as on the Sun Kiss, Sun Magic and Sun Legende 41. I am planning doing the rapair by myself and need to know some more details of how the toe rail ist fixed to the hull. There are screws visible from the outside but I cannot locate nuts and washers from inside the boat. I very much appreciate your help. Paul

Paul, The toerail bolts are buried beneath fiberglass on my Sun Legende. They installed the rail before glassing the hull to deck joint. I just removed my torail during a total rehab of my boat. The nuts were glassed in enough that I could spin the bolts out with a flathead. I dont plan on reinstalling the same toerail - a larger but similar Goiot toerail will be used. Photos are at the ink below - should make you feel better about your boat! You will have to drill through to the inside of the hull and install nuts. picasaweb.google.com/devin.dilley/BoatWork92507-Devin
