Yes, I have a 16 KG Kobra. It is very good. Never fails to set. Very cheap too, as I get 35% trade discount, so I only paid 106 euros.

very nice to hear I have 16kg Bruce currently didn't had issues so far, but thinking to get a 16kg Kobra 2 ... Just I'm still not sure am I able to put 16kg Kobra on the place of 16kg Bruce or I will need to go down to 12kg Kobra to be able to fit it at the same bow roller on my 34 foot Sun Liberty

I had a 16kg Kobra 2 on my SO33ip. Always set well first time. Only problem is that it interfered with removal bowsprit pole for my cruising chute. I started keeping it in the anchor locker. Since I found it difficult to handle, I have just replaced with a 12kg Rocna Vulcan.
Had a Bruce on my last boat SO34.2, was not entirely happy with it - didn't always set first time.

Was the Kobra too big to fit ? I currently have 16kg bruce and I'm trying to determin if the 16kg Kobra will fit...

Finally decided on Kobra 2 14kg for my 34 feet crab pod - hope it is not too small and not too big to fit... ordered it from www.segelladen.de/ £102 inc. the shipping to south of France...

installed 14kg Kobra 2 on my 34 foot Sun Liberty - all seems good - sets well first time and hold well in 35kt wind so far - the only thing that I can say comparing with my previous original licensed/patented Bruce 16kg is that the Bruce was a lot better with shorter chain e.g. was setting and holding with 2x - 3x depth chain - the Kobra II seems to require 4x - 6x for perfect setting .. and the short swinging circle is useful in crowded anchorage...
BTW: if someone need a original extremely well build Bruce 16kg ( in Belgium) all stamped on the anchor I can sell mine...

You may want to keep that bruce for situations you just described. As the Bruce WAS designed to hold oil pump platforms with 2 or 3-1 purchase. Hence why you probably feel it holds and sets better with less rode.

Bruce is good and looks better on the bow , holds well till around 20kt after that it starts to drag very slowly about 1m and hour , but still drags, Kobra 2 once set looks like can hold forever with the slight problem with the need of 1:4-1:6 (depth:chain length) chain as a minimum... - which in 12m-15m depth in busy anchorage gives quite a big swing - but it looks all new anchor types suffer from this e.g. I will need to live with it .... and Yes I most likely will keep my Bruce as it looks very difficult to find a original/patented and proper build quality one
