Are these indents in the hull moulding (with similar in the deck above) supposed to act as scuppers to allow water to drain from the decks? Attachment DeletedIf so, does anyone have any good tips for unblocking them?

Yes, they allow water to drain from the deck, provided they aren't clogged with debris. I use a plastic cable tie to clean them. Run it through from the top, and then move it up and down, back and forth. Then flush with water (but there's probably standing water there to help already).

All mine were blocked, I used a pressure washer to blast the dirt out, they are a very narrow gap & pretty useless really!

Thankyou, I'll have a go at unblocking them. Yes they do appear to be pretty useless - the slightest bit of dirt and they will block.

Get something dry cleaned and open up the wire coat hanger. Use this to poke down the holes!!! I always carry a wire coat hanger for a number of fiddly jobs.

An industrial sized cable tie did the job. It is a very narrow slot so will block regularly, and not helped by the fact that 2 of the 4 slots coincide with a screw/bolt in the toe rail which has deformed it to further constrict the slot. Not a great piece of design.

I have found that using a regular hose nozzle from the bottom is most effective if done on a regular basis.
