I had a bad docking experience and bent one of my Stanchions to the point it is destroyed. Does anyone know which stanchion Jeanneau used on their 2003 43DS.

Which parts of the stanchion do you need? They are not one monolithic piece, but several individual parts. There is the base that screws into the deck, the screws, the stanchion pole itself, and a plastic sleeve. I have a partial list of Jeanneau parts for the 43DS and the 40DS, and the stanchion pole itself for the 40DS is listed as "STANCHION (L640-D25) € 30,72 ". My list does not describe the pole for the 43DS, but it looks the same. The list does not have and other descriptive info for the base or the screws or the sleeve.

bump an old thread. I am trying to source the plastic sleeves (which acts as an insolator from the aluminum base and SS stanchion post)for these stanchions. any ideas? I was going to wrap them with tape or plastidip them (which could be a bad idea)

I looked at possibly using heatshrink tubing. It is available it a lot of different sizes, and it is not expensive. Don't remember the size of the stancion (boat is 1000 miles away). Probably a trial and error thing, unless you have a micrometer to measure the thickness of the existing sleeve. I would not dip them. The other option would be to find some mylar sheet and cut a piece to the right size.

GAAH !!! my lifeline snagged a piling cleat and bent a stanchion pole. I am seeking to get a few replacements (including 1 spare). Why are these so difficult to source?
Any recent suggestions are welcome, thanks.
