I have a facnor furler on my SF 37 (2003) and I get wraps in the halyards, particularly when I haven't brought the spare halyards back from the pulpit.
My rigger tells me I need a halyard deflector wheel, so the facnor website is disgraceful and have not replied to my request. Do I need to stick to facnor? From what I can see the Harken ones just slip on to the forestay above the foil. Can I use one of these for about 1/2 the price or am I missing something?
To make it more interesting I cannot find any markings on the furler to identify a model
cheers

I have the facnor 165 and just installed a Schaffer deflector to ward off halyard wraps. quick install and a $50 part. It should (my opinion) be part of all Jeanneau rigging. Small price to pay for the safety.

Finally someone got back to me saying that I do not have to stick with the facnor part (~$152) versus a harken fitting ($60) or the Schaffer
Thanks
