On our SO45, I'd like to add an HDTV antenna on the mast just above the radar. We have in-mast furling and looking at the bottom of the mast where the wires come out, it appears that there is some pipe/conduit inside the mast. Has anyone tried to fish a new wire down the mast? How easy/hard was it? I think I can use one of the spare wire boots on the deck to get the coax inside the boat from the bottom of the mast.. It just seems like getting the coax down the mast must be the most difficult part...
Thoughts? Ideas?
Thanks!

Hello svmobert, If you go to the hints and tips section here www.jeanneau-owners.com/hintsandtips/tvaerial.html I outlined many years ago how to install a TV antenna on an SO36i. Getting the coax down the conduit is reasonably easy if you follow those instructions. I hope this helps. Good luck with it.
