Has anyone find it difficult to communicate with Jeanneau after sales division through e-mail? I find it disturbing not getting any reply or even an aknowledgement.

I have had the same experience. During the sale, all was well, but now just trying to order a spare waste cap is almost impossible.

We had a couple of issues with our new 2004 SO45.2 which needed to be brought to the attention of Jeanneau (St. Herbiers) after-sales for resolution.
I've found them very helpful and their response was very quick to my e-mails.

Well in the USA (Erik Stromberg) is now being so revered that I wonder if elevation to Sainthood might happen Here in the UK I have personally only had excellent service both from Sea Ventures (Alan Bruce) and Clarke & Carter (specially Ian Scott) despite being a demanding customer during commissioning Ewan de Villefroy at the Jeanneau factory is the best contact there. I am having trouble getting help from Jeanneau Of America with parts request. I realize my boat is a 91 year but they should still have some ideas of where to get parts etc. I have sent two emails with images of the parts and request for things like wiring schematics, manuals and systems list and suppliers.
I was very nieve in thinking that such a large and expensive item there would be in existance alot of litterature on my boat. It would certainly come with operator manuals, electrical schematics, service information, parts sources...you know, like a car! i can get list of evry single screw , nut and piece of plastic to a 86 Chevy Caprice, but yachts costing a million dollars are lucky to have a general systems description written up for the owners. So, if anyone out there has anything on a 1991 Sun Odyssey 51, I would love to get a copy. And anything owners have done as mods, ad-ons or fixes would be most appreciated.
