Hi, I have just bought a Prestige 36 (2006) and am getting used to the operations. I understand the push button switch (same as light switch) to the side of the aft shower operates the shower bilge pump? We haven’t had a shower yet so am unaware this is the case but does operate a very noisy pump below the shower tray. If this is switch requires continuous pressure, where could I purchase a replacement on/off as with the light switches? Thanks.

Sorry for delay in reply but been away on the boat. (Prestige 36)
The switch is normal to be held in all the time in use. A better option is to replace it with a time delay switch of about ten seconds. These are not available from Jeanneau but can be obtained in waterproof versions from RS Components. The pump is normally reasonably quiet so if yours is very noisy I would suspect the diaphragm may be split. The pump is located under the saloon floor adjacent to the hot water cylinder. Good luck Napoleon
