I've check all my seacocks yesterday just before antifouiling and all seems OK - I do not think I have a rocket science sea cock just the standard bronze ones and I guess about 10 years old.. all colour is nice goldish .... Bronze is generally OK , the danger lies in cut-costs-brass-thruhull/seacocks .But we all know that of course Public enemy number one remains stray currents in conjunction with no or worn out zincs. My bronze t-h's and s-c's also still look good , but if replacement would become imperative I would for sure go for synthetics. Regards

no plastic truhulls for me.. I do not believe in them will be titanium truhull + plastic tap if something hit my boat or stress it - I do not want to sunk because I saved 10EUR and got Plastic truhull instead of titanium
