Thankfully many of us are now coming out of hibernation, at least in the north country, and this would hardly be a timely tip, but, We recently purchased an SO 37 and I noticed yesterday that the drain to the anchor locker is situated such that several inches of water remain in the locker. That area is certainly one which may want antifreeze protetrion.

The anchor locker drain is a problem on many yachts, not just jeanneau. A number of owners have succesfully resolved the problem of the retained water by filling up to the level with resin mixed with a filler such as glass beads when the anchor locker has been fully dried out
