We recently purchased a 1985 Arcadia 30 that we will sail on the Chesapeake and possibly Florida. It seems that very few were imported into the US. Are there any other owners out there?

This sight lists 3 or 4 of us. I know of two others in the puget sound region, ie Seattle besides myself. One of these has won its division of the Swiftshore race 2 ys in a row at some point back. They are resonably fast for there size. They have a 155 PHRF per New Englands ratings with a 155 and spinnaker. Local they are in the 180'ish range depending upon sail inventory.
If headlining needs replacement, malcolm just put pics and how to in the how to area of my headliner aft state room replacement project.

Thanks for the reply. I haven't found any Arcadias racing on the Chesapeake, so it will be interesting to see what kind of rating I get. Funny you should mention the headliner. The liner in the head is falling off. I'll read the how to. Is it possible to re-glue or re-attach some other way? That is the only cosmetic issue with the boat.
It is interesting to see how expensive these boats are in Europe. I did a search and found 9 for sale with a low price of 34k, a high of 51k and an average of 43k. I'm sure part of that is the exchange rate, but even without that the prices are much higher...

I have pics to be processed of the head re do too!
I will get those to Malcolm also. Yes these things are pricy in Europe, about double here in the states.
